The NFL's international footprint has grown rapidly over the past decade, and no market has embraced American football more passionately than Brazil. With over 36 million NFL fans across the country, Brazil has quickly become one of the league's most important global markets — and in 2026, that relationship reaches a defining milestone. The NFL is bringing its first-ever regular-season game to Rio de Janeiro, with the Dallas Cowboys set to play at the iconic Maracanã Stadium. This follows back-to-back sellouts in São Paulo in 2024 and 2025, but Rio represents a new chapter entirely — both for the city and for the sport's global growth. For NFL fans, this isn't just a road trip. It's a moment in history.
Rio de Janeiro is one of the most electrifying cities on the planet, and experiencing an NFL game there is unlike anything you'll find in a traditional American stadium. The Maracanã — a venue that has hosted FIFA World Cup finals and the Olympic opening ceremony — will bring an atmosphere that blends Brazilian passion with NFL pageantry in a way that has never been seen before. Beyond the game itself, Rio offers world-class beaches, vibrant nightlife, extraordinary food, and cultural experiences that make this trip as much about the destination as the final score. The Cowboys' opponent will be announced in the spring, but one thing is already clear: this game will sell out, and fans who wait risk missing out on one of the most unique sporting events of the decade.

Josh and Zack were amazing hosts! They were very patient and excellent at navigating our trip to Brazil to attend the Packer game! The additional activities that were planned were spread out enough that it allowed us to have time to explore sites on our own. Overall it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend Sports Fans Travel!
Taylor was great! We had a great time and made several new friends. We appreciated the options for hotels.we are frequent travelers but thought the tips were well thought out for those who may not travel often or who have traveled internationally before.
It was so exceedingly well-organized. We all so appreciated that! You allowed us to "push the easy button" and just have a great time -- which we did!
We wanted to let you folks know that you crushed it! The trip exceeded our expectations! Every detail was incredibly well-conceived and executed by you. And you loaded the package with so many fun activities and gatherings. It allowed us to relax completely without any worries and simply enjoy Ireland to the fullest…which we did! We truly had an absolute blast from the beginning to the end! You have put together a fantastic product and we wish you continued success. And we especially hope that that the stars align and we are able to be with you again on a future adventure!
